NEWS: Eachine Beecore V2 with builtin D16 receiver

Remember close to 1 month ago I reviewed the Eachine Beecore V2, probably the ultimate flight controller dedicaced to 1S TinyWhoop machine in 26mmx26mm size. Here is the FrSky D16 version:

Here, the FrSky D16 receiver can be turned into 8CH (with lower latency) or 16CH mode but in any case, the RSSI is sent to the last channel for the OSD rig and also sent by telemetry. More it’s compatible with EU-LBT preflashed radiocontrols… So it should work with all FrSky compatible radios. My first concern with the original V2 in D8 mode was the relatively poor performances of the Vreg part (~0.8A). No strong enought and probably full diode based… very sensitive to the voltage drop and requering at least a 40C battery. I really really hope, they improve the situation where for example you could have a receiver brownn out immediatly after the take off. Anyway if this problem is solved, this D16 version will be probably the best we can have for a compact brushed FPV Tinywhoop machine: a strong MCU with an OSD, a great builtin receiver with at least 300m of control range and everything around 3g. Associated with a 3.5g AIO module, Dark edition 7mmx20mm motors, a 66mm frame, you can build the best TW machine ever made. Be sure than a Eachine machine (QX65 Pro ?) will be produced soon in BNF edotion with this board pre-installed. As usual, Wait & See.

    What about the firmware, will it be possible to update it to with futur BetaFlight versions ? Or will it be forced to keep this current ‘Customized Betaflight_3.3.0_Crazybee” ?

      Definitively … if and only if the Vreg problem are solved… can be crowded as best TW FC :). If I am not wrong, the crazybee version is now officially supported since the 3.3.0. I believed I saw this official support @ betaflight’s home

    This Beecore is not EU LBT firmware compatible.

    If you take a look at Banggood’s and Eachine’s websites, you’ll see neither mention compatibility. They did, but they don’t now.
