NEWS: Eachine EV200D (FOV 42 deg, 16:9/4:3, 720p screens, 72mm IPD, 2D/3D, Fatshark vRX socket compatible)

Sometimes, when I am newsing a product, you can feel immediatly, you have a future hit !!! and I will immediatly say: WARNING WARNING !!!!
The new Eachine EV200 will be a Killer !!!!!: https://www.banggood.com/Eachine-EV200D-1280720-5_8G-72CH-True-Diversity-FPV-Goggles-HD-Port-in-2D3D-Built-in-DVR-p-1220010.html

We knew all that the EV100 was the first try in FPV goggles area for Eachine. With these new announced EV200, according to following specfications, I am in Shock!!!. Martin Luther King said “I have a dream this afternoon”… I would say… “I have a dream for FPV goggles, and the EV200 did it” …

Here are the important key points:
– FoV of 42 degrees !!!!!
– 720p builtin screens
– 16:9 & 4:3 aspect ration compatible
– Double receiver socket Fatshark pinout compatible
– 72CH receivers
– IPD ajustement up to 72mm
– Fatshark lens dopter compatible
– Builtin DVR w/ H264 recording file
– Autosave DVR function
– MicroUSB,HDMI in, AVin/out
– 2D/3D (side by side)
– Antifog Fan ….

Well no real missing important point …. Ok Ok maybe an headtrack PS/2 port ….. But the EV200D are designed for FPV racing….
The facial mask seems also redesigned and be more confortable versus the EV100. Two options are offered: one without receiver (setA) and one with two diversity vRX modules !!! so a total of 4 antenneas can be plugged. Crazy. Clearly, I am super enthousiast about this product… If there no major bug in the receiver/screen parts (black screen, artefact, light leaks, spherical distorsion, etc..), these EV200D will be the next Eachine Hotcake seller.

We can hope that Eachine will not repeat mistake with EV100 which was de facto not finished product and these googles will be thoroughly tested by reputable reviewers BEFORE letting them out in production. At least in Banggood page they wrote that testing will happen. I hope so.

    • SeByDocKy says:

As far I learnt, there will be some samples send to some reviewers to make a finish tour of all possible bugs. Then will come the fixed final version.

      • Krotow says:

Yes, I seen the notice in Banggood EV200 page:

        – EV200D goggles will start selling after it is tested and reviewed by experienced users.

I hope that you all will be able to help iron out all bugs like these which turned EV100 into crap. And customers will get a good product in their hands. Would be good if they would use better screens than these glitch shop which now are used in F7X. Preordered EV200 just for case 🙂

        • SeByDocKy says:

I don’t know if I will be in the betaversion….. and to be honest, I wouldn’t like …. coz I want a final product bugfree to review 🙂 coz these EV200D can be my new daily goggles 🙂

  • jjacobs says:

What does HD Port Conventor mean? EV200 would not support mini hdmi cable for HD input?

  • K says:

After the disappointment brought by the Topsky FX7, I’m a bit hesitant to celebrate the pending arrival of yet another ‘potential Fatshark killer’.

But at least even if this one does bomb out at least there’s the Aomway Commander to fall back to.

Still, I’m bloody excited at the possibility of being able to mount 3 triple feed patch antennas to cover the entire front hemisphere and 1 pagoda antenna on this baby.

    • SeByDocKy says:

I agree with you …. the “Wait & See” sentence is definitively true… The new Skyzone V3 should be not so bad too

A year later and still no release. The reviews have been too but KABAB ripped it a new one. Stu and Andy like them as well as Bardwell.

    $300 for meh not sure.

    • SeByDocKy says:

In fact, I received the pre-release version…. the same as Andy-RC received… I like them … only the DVR can be improved but for LCOS screens, they are much much better than the Topsky F7X. Expect first my videos in a couple of days.

I am kind of new to the game, but I have seen bad for cheep:-) and IT IS ALL OPINION based mostly. I personally shoot for the stars then back off on options until affordable. Although I find allowing room for growth is expensive and necessary when talking tech. My first computer was a Vic20. My first stereo was component at age of 13y now 45 I am surrounded by Mirage and Velodine. Nothing changes I AM TECH RICH MONEY POOR:-) 🙂

        • SeByDocKy says:

I am turning 45 too in a couple of months … I started with an Oric 1 🙂 leant Z80 when I was 10 …. Was a good time … where days looked so long … and I was young….

          • Steven Potter says:

The days were weeks, and the nights never long enough.

Were are the end of the golden era of childhood dreams.

The dichotomy of tech has changed EVERYTHING so much.

This is my first build, I have a spf3 6dof , and a racerstar xt60 pre installed on shot30 amp Current sensor etc. The SPF3 LED came in when I connected the usb the first time I plug up, but did not check it I. Betaflight. Went and put it all together and test for bridges and shorts all clear high ohms. Motors beep . Installed driver com6 works in Boboli but same warning flight board not found
            Any ideas?
