The trainer 90 is full carbon based and come fully disassembled. Luckely, connectors are here everywhere and it should take 5-10min maximum to build the machine. Important remark: no propguard, no camera pod, no motor protection… and the flight controller is directly exposed… so .. the durability of the machine is clearly raised especially for 0703/0706 motors known to be fragile… the top part can pop up more easily. For the electronic, we have a basic F3+OSD flight controller, a 4-in-1 1S 5A BLheli_S/Dshot600 ESC board. The FPV rig is classic with a 600TVL CMOS 1/4″ sensor + 48CH/25mW 5.8G VTX. An originaly….. you can choose between 0703 15000Kv or 0706 type…. The weights will go from 24.7g to 30g… for the 0706 version more adapted for outdoors applications. I would say the 0703 can be more an indoors trainer while the 0706 more for outdoors…. Two choices of microreceiver are proposed: a FrSky D8 with RSSI or a FlySky AFHDS-2A. The battery is a LiHV model to boost even more performances.

    I purchased this Trainer 90 from Banggood. They listed it as a BNF model, not a kit. Anyway, I have average or below buolding skills and have only built brushed rigs.

    Ibwas able to put this kit together in one evening and it flies very nicely. I have the 0706 version and it flies 3 minutes on a 550mah HV battery.

    An enjoyable little quad project!
