NEWS: Hawkeye Mini DVR

A new compact and lightweight DVR is proposed by Hawk Eye: http://www.banggood.com/Hawk-Eye-Mini-DVR-720P-D1-VGA-QVGA-HD-Micro-Video-Recorder-Built-in-Battery-p-1119926.html. It seems the native firmware support correctly both D1/PAL (720*576)@25 fpv and D1/NTSC (720*480)@30fps… Definitively after the “PAL” fiasco of the HMDVR and the Eachine ProDVR (even if it’s fixed at 95% with a new firmware)
it would be great if a relatively cheap DVR offers perfect recordings for both format without any cropping and low bit rate. As the HMDVR and the ProDVR, this new module need +5V as input.. so probably not working directly from a 1S source at least without Step up.
There is a builtin battery for a 2h usage. No precise information about the file format and the bitrate associated.

À word about ProDVR : Make sure you ask for the v1.4 if you order. Because v1.6. records black pictures whenever there is noise :-/

It’s true … but can we really choose the V1.4 instead of V1.6 ? In any case, it proves there was absoluptly no real testing
