NEWS: Lens 120 degrees in M5.5 format available !!!!!

This small lens will probably save or reboost a lot of recent FPV/camera toyquadcopter recently introduced here: http://www.banggood.com/M5_5-15_8-1_84mm-2MP-Wide-angel-Lens-for-16-17-OV2722-Sensor-Syma-X5C-Hubsan-X4-H107D-H107C-p-1055858.html
This lens is in M5.5 offer now a 120degrees of FOV. It’s the first time I saw such small lens (I asked to BG to stock it and they listen to me …)

    Good morning Seby
Do you know if this lens will fit the camera/sensor of the WL V666FPV please?

  • Onclefly says:

Salut Seb, super une taille en plus 🙂

  • Black_Wolf says:

That’s a good news! Will you make a tuto about how to install it on a quad? It would be cool!

    • SeByDocKy says:

      I am planning too 🙂

      • Black_Wolf says:

I’ve tried to install it on a Gteng yesterday….you can’t screw the lens directly, you have to unglue the previous mount and to glue the new….unfortunately, even if i have been careful, i must have destroyed the sensor i think (i have a black screen at the receiving end, i’ll buy a new video module)…so be careful!

        • SeByDocKy says:

Yes but after unscrewing the original one, you were able to screw normally the new one ?

          • Black_Wolf says:

No you cannot, it is too large! You have to change the lens mount (you must unglue the original mount), it is quite tricky (i destroyed my sensor, unfortunately)…the thread of the 120° module is too big for the a classic 5.5 mount…

          • SeByDocKy says:

Do you mean you need an M5 model for the GTeng model ?

  • Black_Wolf says:

    Well, i suppose…i’v tried on both a Gteng and a JJRC H6D, it does not fit…to bad…

I no longer see this item on Bang Good. Does anyone know where i may be able to find it?

Did anyone every make a tutorial for this?
