TAROT announced recently three small and strong ARTF FPV racers, from 120mm up to 150mm. Here, I will review more the 135mm edition, i.e. TL130H1. All of them include a 300mW 32CH 5.8G VTX and naze32 compatible FC.

The TL130H1 is small …. and in size pretty close to the LKTR120 V2 as your see.
But everything is larger: motors, props, arms thickness
A classic H frame with 2 plates linked with lightweight aluminium standoffs
With everything installed, a 3S 500mAh LiPo on top for example.
The large port is a PWM receiver port … so for such size, it’s strongly advise to not install some. CPPM or SBUS receivers are much more adapted.
Blocked by the front standoff, impossible to connect the TL130H1 to cleanflight without removing this element ….
It’s really annoying …. but it takes only 1min to remove/reinstall it…
Three ports can be found on the rear part of the FC. The right one is the SBUS. By default the servo plug is installed on it. If you plan to install a CPPM receiver, reconnect this cable to the central connector.
Good news, 2.4G receivers like a FrSky D4R-II can be installed
The receiver fully integrated
ESC are all installed on each arms well protected with heatshrink. No big risk of shortcuts but it’s strongly advised to secure the installation by “ziptiying” them. The tape have been reported to loose its property versus time especially with the heat free by ESC.
The upper plate is 1.5mm CF based
The VTX Vfreq/Vband DIP switch is localized on top. No Vfreq/band table is given in the instruction manual.. but it shoud be more or less conventional. The 3 first switches select one of the 8 Vfreq while the last two select one of the four bands.
A buzzer is here. Good news… this buzzer is automatically beeping after few second of stick inactivity…. and cherry on the cake a switch can be assigned to it.

so close to be twice more heavier. Of course, here we have stronger motor, more solid frame, 3S LiPo…
some 6A 3S ESC flashed with BLheli firwmare. No information about the max peak supported by this ESC.
Arms look very solid, thanks to the 2mm CF structure
Below each arm is installed a piece of foam playing the role of landing gear

Unfortunatly 3inch props is the maximum size we can install for this frame
1104 brushless motor announced to be 4000KV
The 300mW 5.8G VTX is boxed into a metallic housing minimising some potential interferences with the 2.4G part
A simple linear antenna is installed unfortunatly directly soldered to the VTX. With some moddings, should be possible to install a CL model.
A simple 520TVL camera installed front housed into the frame. The FOV if the camera is annouced to be 120 degrees but IMHO its a much larger model, a 170 degrees so not super adapted to outdoors FPV racing. The lens mount is in M7 format so compatible for example with the 808#16 lens D if you need a thiner FOV (120 deg for example)

The FC is seen directly via Cleanfight configuration 🙂 As soon as you are installing first associated drivers. Officially, you need the CH340 drivers but CH341 seems to works fine too (same than for Hubsan product for example). I attached the CH341 drivers below.
New demo flight
It’s confirmed to be a super stable machine with default PIDs… handling well winds… Throttle pumps are responsive. With my 500mAh 3S battery I got a solid 6-7min of flying duration. Two (main) drawbacks IMHO:
1) The FPV light sensitivity is pretty poor 🙁 … a poor CMOS FPV probably 🙁 Contast adaptation is very slow and I was partially blind by moment with my FPV goggles.
2) The buzzer is weak. Hard to hear above 5m of distance…..
A solid frame much more adapted for racing than the LKTR120. Thanks to its relative light weight, you have in hand a real sporty racer naze32 & cleanflight friendly. Anyway, this product is still far to be perfect. First of all the FPV camera’s performance is weak especially in term of light sensitivity/adaptation. I regret also the absence of an OSD. Finally the buzzer’s volume is also weak
